Commissions

"Whilst I will happily undertake any variety of commissions, My particular joy is to produce manuscripts for masonic purposes. These documents tend to use my favourite gothic alphabet and allow me to beautify them with coloured illuminations and gilding.

I have experience in designing Lodge badges and scripting certificates rewarding fifty years Lodge membership, multiple years as Lodge master or preparing half centenary memorabilia.

I tend to liaise closely with my customers and rely upon their knowledge of the individual or Lodge benefitting from the work so that I can personalise the manuscript, as distinct from a standardised "suit anyone" style document.

My manuscripts can be carried out on vellum or fine paper. The lettering is in chinese ink or gouache. Illuminations are in gouache colour and gilding is 24ct English gold leaf."
